A mechanical mystery: A wooden block fitted with a slot, wing nut, and bolt. A coin is inserted into the slot and securely locked in place by the bolt. Yet, at the magician’s command, the impossible occurs—the coin visibly penetrates the solid bolt and drops cleanly into the spectator’s waiting hand. Beautifully made and hallmarked.
